I got a toshiba 37'' i use it to watch tv and recently tried to hook up my 360 to it.

The thing is i have one of the older 360 without the hdmi inputs wich sucks ( im not sure if theres and adapter for it or anything so if there is throw up a link).

So I cant use my hdmi cable for it. basically the tv goes up to 720p
but my xbox stays at 480p wich is digusting looks really bad. i tried turning the switch on the back of the Xbox's powercord to hdtv but the screen goes blank but i can hear it boot up and everything its just theres no visuals just a black screen and sound.

i then goto setting and try to change the hdtv settings from 480p to 720 and even 1080i but it goes blank for 3 seconds and goes back to 480p.

does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do?im not very tech savvy so any help would be great.

also my ps3 displays at 1080i with the hdmi cables wich i find wierd cause this tv is only supposed to go up to 720p but it looks gorgoues killzone 2 looks insane!

i want that quality for bioshock and gears of war!

You need to use the component input of your tv. Video and audio through 5 cables instead of 3. Or use an xbox360 VGA cable. It will also give you access to more computer friendly resolution output in the dashboard once plugged in.

I have a Toshiba Regza and no HDMI-- try a different port-- I have the 360 hooked up to input 4. Input 3 doesn't work on mine for some reason

Just thought I would chuck this in here since its like the CHEAPEST cables on the net. This company makes their own gear, I have a bunch of their cables and the housings ect absolutely haul. Ive had to return stuff to them, no problems at all (had to pay the shipping though since nothing was wrong with the cable.) easy to deal with, great product.
