Hello! I currently study Game Graphic at The Game Academy in Malmo Sweden. I usually post up my things at my blog but none is reading it so it would be better to post up in popular forums instead. It is first time for me posting a sketchbook in forums. So I can start over here at polycount. I hope I understood that sketchbook is for anything that is involved with 2d and 3d.

if you're not looking for crits or feedback go to the bottom of this post, otherwise read on:

pretty good amount of work so far, however to me they feel 'overly textured'
try working on your main forms and line more first to establish the content. you're rendering a lot but much of it feels like it is getting lost. try implementing points of interest/focal points in each composition.

that being said, try to put more thought into the actual composition itself as well.

the coloring itself also feels somewhat flat, despite all the rendering. try to learn more about color in general and how it works in the world. a blatant example would be the predator piece you have.. the armor is not being affected by the environment around it whatsoever. same with the warrior guy. in fact, I don't think there's any lighting in that one. establish a light source and stick to it.

I cannot recommend enough watching Practical Light and Color by Jeremy Vickery.

keep it up. I'm interesting in seeing how you progress.

overall, pretty sweet dude.

Do you have any advice on drawing landskapes? From where have you learned your techniques?

Nah I dont have any techniques to paint environment. The most important thing is to know how to use color and to know shapes. I do speedpaint always because when u have so short time u will get faster to know colors and shapes and later u will discover ur techniques. Do loads of speedpaints and they should not be more than 1h. U will sooner find out about ur true identity of being an artist

I study some color with this one. And I tried to not take some pictures and texture and different brushes. So I used only round brush and calk brush. It took some time but it was worth it.

I managed to finish the platform. The heli flies a mate did it but the rest texture, modelling is done by me. This is one of the props I did to our shoot em up game.
