Backstory:

Harnessing the power of his father's magical Electian Crown, (and matching codpiece), Aleck de'Buro is a fierce and swift warrior. The lightning-infused crown (and matching codpiece) grant him great magical defense, while his pistol serves as a direct tool for smiting his wicked foes.

I wasn't going to work on this last night..but I got bored, so I started goofing around with the boot. Did a quick 1hr subd model, then decided it was too "medieval" looking. A quick paintover during lunch, and it's better... Added the ubiquitous "Gundam ankle guard" and it's instantly 5000 years older.

Oh yeah, and tube socks.




I know the buckles are ass-backward, but that's what happens when you decide to start modeling at 3:30am. They'll probably end up baked down to maybe 30x30px anyway, so all it really needs is the suggestion of function.

Also, I decided I'm going to scrap the pistol and go for dual-wielded shortswords/knives. I envision this guy hopping around like crazy on the battlefield, flailing his little nubby arms and legs in a swift whirlwind of blood and destruction.

Oh man. Win!!!!!
