Hi everyone. I'm joining team Polycount. This is the first time I've entered the Dominance War. Historically I almost never finish these sorts of comps in time, but hopefully things will be different this time.

Like everyone else I have found Alchemy, its great for getting over that first hurdle. I still don't know what I'll be doing yet, just laying down some thumbnails for now.

ideas so far; A generish cyborg soldier. Woman in a green dress a skull for a face and an afro and/or beehive. Some kind of robot, possibly of the giant killer variety.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've been struggling with the concept stage. So my plan now is to pick something and go with it. I'm going to start mocking some stuff up in Max, then keep doing paint overs to keep working out the next stage.

My character concept so far is this;

He's a norm sniper. His right eye has been replaced with a large magical artefact, giving him eagle eye vision and deadly accuracy.
Clothing will be a standard army uniform (I was thing something like WWI or II) with some rags to form a partial ghillie suit.

I've been slacking off for the last week or so, gota keep at it!

Started working on the base mesh but did get too far into it, just not feeling right.
Thanks Notebookguy, I went back to my original sketches the female character felt better.

Just trying to lay in some base meshes for now. Basically she is a demonic pop diva. Uses her banshee like wailing to maim the enemy.
I think I need to play with the proportions, exaggerate the hips and thighs a tad, still not happy with the hair style yet.

The other direction to push this in would be an undead siren character.
