fallen general cyborg.
heyas everyone, heres my start and the first thing that poped into my head.
going for a sort of .... a fallen dom war generals lifeless body collected by the machines, and repurposed for their army. parts of the general still live, the part that remembers human strategy and movement on the battle field.......and these were no mere machines that captured her, they happen to be wierd asian bublegum mecha porno machines....
ill be going for a bublegum cyborg sniper general. i just wanted something fun to work on,,,think commy redfaction, anime cyborg but alittle darker, pink metals meets twisted flesh.....thats what i got. heres a couple of quickies.

nice looking cyborgs so far, it's hard to keep the feminine shapes in there when your trying to go with some bulkier armor plates but i think your designs keep her looking sexy ^^
the right one get's my vote
keep it up

Awesome modeling so far man. I think the textures will really help sell the soviet tech sort of look, with decals or weathered sort of metals. Looking at a few of these concepts:

(thanks for the link Roo!)
Maybe try to create some harder edges to make it less sleek looking...or add detail that defines the muscles, like the delts and biceps for example,...that could make it seem more "rough around the edges" or brutal. Just some thoughts, keep in mind I'm not a robot guy by ANY means, hehe.

thats awesome, I totally typed up a response that had some Keith Thompson links in it too, but then polycounts servers took a dump and I lost the response.
anhoos I was saying it might be cool to get away from the typical military soviet stylings and go for a more spooky othodox russian thing:
* note the russian icon* also making it look kinda busted and muddy as I imagine russia has lots of mud because its probably always raining in russia because russia is depressing :P
also might be worth looking into some red star
---you should also drop this into the summary thread

good call, kieth thompson is great, ill be heading in that direction for sure on the textures, but i wanten to figure out a distinct russian look in the shapes, so there is harmony in shape and texture, the rifle will be like a long ak, or dragonov style, so that will help, just need to bring it into the body alittle. im sure i cal sell it in teh textures though, good stuff ill check out that red star.thanks man

Pretty good so far!
I find it funny that the 2 things that i have mentioned first, being alchemy and keith thompson have been echoing throughout the forums ever since... Not that that is a bad thing as both are badass in their respective ways.
If you want some Russian fantasy stuff id say have a look at the khador from war machine.
1 2 3
Hope that helps.
