created TF2: Scout Update
on 02-23-2009 07:49 AM
I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this!
Anyone else following the updates?

I've never been a big fan of the scout, but my engineer will love all these light weights running around farming achievements!

I just FINALLY got the hang of playing a scout recently. And this is after years of TFC before TF2 as well. Scout update is just in time!

Just bring back the scout's TFC concussion grenades so I can launch myself past a trio of heavies camping a choke point please.

Ugh.
Only beef I have with Scouts, is every once in a while, you'll be in a room with a scout that just completely destroys everyone with insane skill, timing, and health pack camping.
Only thing that ever seems to beat them are fully upgraded turrets.
:S
I just hate to see how much more ridiculous those players become with this upgrade.

Don't like Scout, but the Sandman looks interesting.

You and me both! Flame Retardant Suit at the cost of a shorter cloak, imo.

Soldier Achievements pleeeeasseeee
He used to dominate in qwtf now he sucks major balls. Especially when compared to the demo who can fire 12 shots without reloading.
Might need to simultaneously upgrade the engineer, soldier, and demoman though.

I can't wait for soldiers update, I'm able to bounce around everything in sight. but he is not as mobile as qwtf soldier class.( I don't expect them to change that, I'm content with the soldier)
Mind you qwtf was dominated by soldiers and snipers.

hehe all one side will need is a wall of heavies with natascha, espically after the last update which seemed to overpower them

Oh man. With TF2, they are so doing it right. I don't even play the game. I've never played the game, I don't plan on playing the game, but even I look forward to updates with glee! Even the stuff that's about the game without being in the game is so ridiculously awesome!
Underline, italics, bold AND caps worthy!
AWESOME
... maybe I oughta actually try the game out at some point, after all...
