hey everyone. im kinda new to all the 3d techniques and also new to polycount although ive been watching for the last few weeks everyone's stuff and you guys are doing impressive and great things here ! bla bla bla..
anyways i didnt quite felt like posting anything as im in a very basic learning stuff about game techniques untill tonight when i decided to start modeling on my own without any tutorials or refs help.
so this is my 2nd low poly character and i my aim was to create an ordinary female with as little tris as i could and also to keep everything in quads as i dont quite feel ready for tris.(i know tris are the best for games). so i was wondering if anyone could bother answer few questions of mine ..
how does tri's affect normal maps and sculpting for normal maps in zbrush?
are there other ways to create normals maps without the nvidia 's normal map plugin for photoshop ? do normal maps work on like 2 tris(plane) ?
is the 64x64 texture map lowest for games?
and also regarding my mesh.. id greatly apreciate if you could spill all your knowledge on whats wrong and whats going to be wrong further on (when ill do biped to this model, rigging and such)
