good god is that 4 GPUs? Those two cards combined are worth more than the brand new system I just built T_T
I'm looking forward to giving this a good thrash:
intel q9300 c2quad 6 mb cache 2.5 ghz
evga nforce n780i ftw
evga 9800 gt 1 gb
2x2048 corsair xms2 dhx 800 mhz ram
1 tb 7200 rpm seagate barracuda
750w corsair psu
and an old adaptec 2910 scsi card for my ricoh 11x17 IS410 adf scanner.
Which is all working on vista32 with no issues.
Will be looking to dualboot vista 64 in the near future.
Asker of smart noob questions, cause the dumb ones go unasked.

when i was putting my computer together i was putting my CPU in and i finger slipped and i thought i bent a pin scared the crap out of me till i turned it on and it was OK lol. it didn't look bent much, but you could see that the one pin was out of place from the lighting. computer works like a charm though for almost a year now.

Daaamn. That's hot.
I would post stats but my rig is hella outdated, and totally not worth showing off. Just my crippled little beast of burden.

There's this thread that's been running for a while now with people's computer specs:

Agree with danr. Though I'm secure in both my penis size, and computer specs, and needn't be validated by nor show off to others ;)

There are few genuine situations in which the sharing of hardware specs is actually interesting: when shopping for new parts and offering advice, or when sharing awesome art / a new workflow made possible only by some massive power upgrade. Or when showing off an engine that looks beautiful and runs securely regardless of the user's penis size.

You'd need a bigger monitor.

That was a monitor?
I thought that it was a wall to your little lair where you hide from your minions until you spot something is shit and then pop your head over the top hehe
I bet porn looks good on that screen though

For some reason, the motherboard doesn't seem to take 4GB, even though it supports up to 13 or something. I have 2 other 1GB sticks of the exact same type, but when they are inserted the PC will not start. There's a beep, but it doesn't even make it to POST
