Wondering what types of music everyone listens to while creating their amazing pieces of art. I really want to expand my music I listen to while creating my 3D stuff, and if you can give a particular band name or singer name that would be awesome.

I've recently become addicted to a Finnish viking-themed folk-metal band. No, I'm not joking. Give them a chance, they fucking rock.

I just make genius playlists with iTunes. Pick a song, and it matches it up with others that compliment it. Some of my fave albums on their own are:
Korn - Issues
Korn - Life is Peachy
Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe
Marilyn Manson - Eat me, Drink me
Primus - Greatest Hits
CCR - Chronicle, Vol1
Paul Oakenfold - A lively Mind
Paul Oakenfold - Bunkka
Sevendust - Best of
Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
It tends to matter on what I'm working on as well. If it's real tedious crap, I'll listen to something faster. Then once I get to some cool shit, I'll slow it down some.

Trance trance trance, dubstep some drum and bass etc.
http://www.breaksblog.biz/ - for dj mixes, some better than others obviously.
Although im pretty prone to zoning out while i draw, plenty of times i've paused my music to talk to someone only to resume painting for 20mins without realising i didn't start up my music D:
Still, i can't live without it... if im not watching a film/anime i will have music on \m/

This is like deja vu...only I really have seen a thread on the same topic before.

I don't actually listen to music whilst working. I find it very distracting
I used to always find it really hard in a studio because little noises would seep in to my brain
and annoy me, like people typing too loud or people trying to stipple texture with a graphic tsblet
must have some kind of noise sensitivity thing going on
I love music in general though
Miles, when there is a thread about deja vu that you think you have seen before I would start worrying

Korpiklaani fuckin rules. Been listening to em for a while now, and was super surprised when I walked into hmv a little while ago and saw some of their cd's. Now I see em being posted here, so awesome.
I like to listen to metal, lately a lot of Arcturus (fuck they're awesome).

I've been listening to mostly Progrock bands exclusively for the past 2 weeks. Artists and groups like:
To-Mera: Evergrey: After Forever: Project Hate MCMXCIX: Epica:
and a few others.
