Hey, this is looking pretty awesome already but i suggest you dive into the proportions a bit more so you get it spot on. The scale still feels a bit cartoony in some places.

Keep it up.

I think the overall structures in these rockfaces are great. I love the striations ect, but personally I have found issues with putting very much small texture / noise in my hi-poly sculpt directly. That stuff I think, with my limited knowledge, can go in the diffuse or as a bump/texture drop ontop of the actual rendered normal map.

I learned how with this tutorial by Ben Mathis;

http://www.poopinmymouth.com/tutoria...workflow_3.htm

bottom of the page.

I could easily be wrong here, im noob.

Hey, questions, do you use original alpha brushs in Zbrush that you create yourself? Ive tried it a couple times but ended up worse off than just using the standard brushs.

cool work so far go go go

Yeah, that is a great tut on doing cliff faces. Say it a little while ago. I like what you go so far though some it feels a little "noisy"

In keeping with your initial idea I think it's too red all around. Making the place look evil is not just about reds and blacks.
