more models less text

bitmap, so ok, yea speed models are supposed to be fast, but to me the essence of such things, we were thinking, time didn't matter, all that really mattered, to me, is that you started something without the intentions of ever finishing it. so all you have to do, is open your modeling software, start something, and never feel the need to touch it ever again. i find it therapeutic. no concept. no producers. just you making whatever you felt like at the moment, without any strings attached. go, stop when you're done.

Oh, I have plenty of those things lying around. Here's something I did while trying some subd modeling. I don't know what it is but I certainly don't intend to finish it... or maybe it'll end up being one of those useful things you dig up and put on a model for that finishing touch later on.

i think i'm being misunderstood here. i'm trying to influence people to make new crap they'll never finish, not post old crap they've never finished. i'm being cereal! i'm drunk right now, otherwise i'd contribute to my own thread. tomorrow!

speed model = it's not nearly finished, but you had time to put something of quality in there, be it proportions, style, pose, anything. Like KP's hatcat.

How could you NOT finish grenade kitty? I suck at textures and even I would try to finish that.

I'll probably do some stuff up for this thread later. I've been bored lately working on stuff.

I really like this thread, I've been opening Max lately when I'm waiting for Premiere to finish rendering out my frames, or when I have a good 15 minutes before class. Great for little models that will never end up getting any love at all.
