this one of my first post been trolling around here for a while now
i just got done with senior project planning first class of 3 at the art insitute ca san diego
for the class we had to come up with an idea and concept it out. this is what i have done i would love some C&Cs.


from top to bottom the first thing is the piece of metal that i found in front of a lot of fireplaces from that time period, piece that will probably go on top of the book case, this is the fireplace screen

I like this shit, only objection is the drawers left and right of the fireplace are too simple, in contrast with the rest of the furniture/room in general.

Have you modeled anything on this?

thank you, actaully they are suppose to be wood panelling. yeah i see how they could be more detailed

turned out nicer as the drawings made me think,- well done on the 3d side- texture looks also nice

Try to not make the black too black. You never want to do straight black or white. Let the lighting take care of that part.
