These would be a lot more interesting if we could see where you go with them. Right now they're just blobs, but it could be cool to see whether or not they inspire you to create something you wouldn't have gotten to otherwise, as that's the fun thing with just scribbling away.

Wow cool materials! Did you overlay some mentalray concrete/noice on top of your sculpt to get that look?

The back wall is just MR's architecture shader with a concrete bump applied and the clay is a fast SSS shader w/ a dent for the bump

tryin to work on some anatomy tonight since i'm pretty bad at people:

these sculpts have a lot of style, I like how you're pushing for a more traditional clay feel... the renders help that a lot too!

Why on earth was my previous set to 'unregistered'? I BROKE THE BOARDS HA!

Anyways thanks for the info, I'll look into that. Would be nice to have slightly more pronounced castshadows tho, atm the blurred shadow blobs make your models appear tiny/maquette scaled. The bigger the object the sharper the shadow!

I think the shadows are so soft because i'm using mr_Skyportals to give the illusion of windows giving off light. I might mess with some other lighting set ups. I'm digging max08's new mental ray features with the more physically accurate exposure and junk.
