I'd make some parts slightly more pronounced, such as his eyelid for instance. A thing dark line to seperate eye from eyelid would be nice, it'd make the depth of the lid a lot more obvious. Actually, the entire body is a bit vague, especially compared to the electronic thing on his head which is very sharp. All in all, the head's blown up the most, and I think you'd be better off giving it more space on the uvs.

While this is pretty cool, I wonder if it fits with the contest brief? As far as I'm aware, Munch wasn't in any next-gen FPS/3rd person games...

it's as nextgen as doom3 dude, munch oddyssey was a third person adventure game on xbox, doom3 a fps on PC/xbox, never released on nextgen platforms, if doom3 works, this one works.

munch is more nextgen third person than god of war, alan wake and some other entries that are valid (hell PS2 games nextgen ??? wtf ???)

anyways, i'll stop derailing this thread, the entry is awesome, I love oddworld's art direction and you did a great job recreating it

In the interests of keeping the challenge consistent, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath was a "next gen" title, however Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee wasn't. I see you are doing the character justice in low poly, but it was rather low poly to start off with, so the "challenge" element is minimal. I'll move your entry to P&P to continue further activity.

lol I love all the posts getting kick into P&P. I don't normally look at the challenge thread so its cool so see what I`m missing. All these odd world guys are great. only crit are the arms and feet could use a little bulk to better match the original. I think I`m gonna go do a slig now.
