created Your favorite christmas albums?
on 12-05-2007 08:52 AM
I've got 3 for christmas dinner with the family, but I have no clue what to play at the office party (I'm playing DJ that night)
Any suggestions?
FWIW, my quiet mix-
Charlie Brown Christmas
Ella Fitzgerald Swingin' Christmas

The only Xmas tracks allowed to be played in my home:
Run-DMC: Christmas in hollis
Eazy-E: Merry mutha******' X-Mas
I guess it depends what kind of audience you have...;)

k I'll see if the local HMV carries Trans Siberian Orchestra. Cheers guys!
Or seeing as I'm in Singapore, I could just put on some the same music as any other party, since most folks can't be arsed about the holiday spirit down here anyways...

huh, what, did someone mention Trans Siberian Orchestra? Awsomeness! Was just their show on Sunday. So very very cool. And anything by Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Burl Ives.

I'll second the Vandals Christmas album, and Run DMC, and also add The Ramones "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)".

I can't even look at a picture of Neil Diamond anymore without thinking about Will Farrell's HILARIOUS Saturday Night Live skit where he portrayed Neil Diamond as a porn-loving, racist, drug addict who runs over children. All in the name of inspiration for his song-writing.
I'm surprised no one mentioned this one: the Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack, performed by the Vince Guaraldi trio.
That IS Christmas.
