I just finished Heavenly Sword and the art direction and concept art in that game is amazing. That team must've had quality coming out it's ears.
Finally a title produced in the UK which feels as grand as a big-scale US game. Guessing they had a decent budget.

@ Mop - Yea
I think they used mudbox a lot in HS's pipeline, I saw it on a few monitors in the background in the developer videos. Weta is involved in heavenly swords development also which has strong ties with Skymatter being from the same city and so on.

wow didnt know talexi had a cool portfolio webpage too! very inspiring!
I really am impressed with just how neat and clean Cedric Seauts high poly models are. They dont have any of that lumpy clay look that so many of us struggle with in zbrush and mudbox.

pretty sweet work, but i do think its funny how all the naruto characters are sculpted yet you never see any of that detail in the ingame versions... heh, they look just like the characters in the anime though. i really love the first guy in the heavenly sword section.

cedric's stuff is amazingly clean and has pleasing curves and composition - seems like he knows excatly the right amount of details to put, right balance between (apparently) simple very nice curves and detailed areas; plus the sense of weight of those HS characters is awesome. Plus he seems to be french, like me: FRENCHIES FTW!
