hey, I just heared about this game planned to be released today in Japan... the fights looks pretty awesome.. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

best 3D characters I've seen so far on a DS..
but I wonder if they are realtime... what do you think?

It looks really phenomenal, either way, especially for a DS. I'd like to see it first-hand before jumping to any conclusions about how it's created, but I'm going to agree with Casey on this one.

I wonder if all of the models are like that, instead of just in fight sequences?

Reminds me of Killer instinct, I was naive and though it was 3D as a kid, to find out it was sprites later on [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Yeah it's all pre rendered stuff, but wonderful looking nonetheless.

Mistwalker (I think those are the devs) said when they announced the project that it was going to be all pre rendered to produce a look you don't normally see on ds. I think they pulled it off nicely.
