all of a sudden the pc is telling me I have a "tablet mismatch" and I can't bring up the Gui to set the tablet preferences. When I click on the tablet icon under control panel, it says "please reinstall drivers". After having upgraded and reinstalled the drivers several times, I have no clue what the issue is. Have any of you guys come across this, or better yet, know how to fix it?

well stop using it as a coaster and the beer that you spill all over the place wont break your electronics. haha... I had an issue like this with my laptop a while back because I used a wacom that wasn't mine and somehow the drivers got jacked up.

I deleted all of the wacom files and reinstalled them.

You are probably missing some dll file that is corrupted and is not getting over written for some reason.

Good luck Pete

apparently, I don't have a tablet.dat :P

aha! after further testing, I removed all files related to the driver via uninstall, then manual delete. for what was left over (common.dat & some others) Then re-installed the drivers.

thanks for your help guys.

Without posting a new thread uhm, does the tablet driver load slowly at startup? it's like the last thing to load and halts my comp up some at startup always.

Any fix or a load order I can change?
