the head looks pretty sweet, but the physique and the design elements of his armour feel spindly and fragile, maybe exagerate things a little more and see what happens?

Looks cool, love the face. The legs seem too small though. What are the things on his head? I can't understand them. Are they leaves?

Detail on the head rocks.

indian_boy: i'd say as far as MK ref goes, it's much more Baraka than Reptile.

Yeah, I have to say kill the bunny ears, as I also cannot get over the Donnie Darko symilarities which makes me smile instead of fear. I know you were going to do the moth type antenas but I think that your piece is solid enough without them.

No, keep the antennas!
They're what make this concept original.

mvelasquez: nope, but he got membranes

spark: hmm,, i think i would have to make horns or something instead, if i loose the antennas. and they draw attention to his head and makes an interesting silouhette so i dunno, but i will think about it. thanks for the suggestion :]

rabbits are certainly evil btw

great modeling erik. I think you could revisit the fingerless gloves design and embellish on it a little. They feel very contemporary for a design that otherwise is pretty futuristic.

I'm really liking the design of this guy, except the antennas. They just don't sit right with me. I think the head is one of the strongest elements of your character and it would be a shame making it look silly instead of frightening.
Great work.

i'd second Daz's comment about the Bad Dude gloves, but otherwise it's coming along quite swimmingly. one of the more curious (in a good way) entries i've seen this year--please keep us posted with further updates!
