I'm not sure this would fit the brief, considering it looks very non-human and more than a tad robotic. Maybe you should check it out with fred before continuing?

He doesnt feel like a covert ops "shadow" either, but i guess thats open to interpretation to some extent.

very cool stuff krakarth, glad to see you putting in some early effort in the compo. i think big carapace-y bug guy is pretty much always a good way to go; now i think it's worthwhile to take a step back and see how you can work the forms to be more interesting, more dynamic, more everything you want. segmented carapace type designs like that are very amenable to quick little black and white sketches, which i'd love to see from you. keep us updated!

excellent idea/concept image as long as it fits the spec...
I think it would be fine, if it is an external suit of armor, I'd try to elaborate on the idea more and suggest there is a human controller inside if that is the case.

I'll be looking forward to seeing this one pan out
