One of my favorite bands now has an awesome video.

It's like Schoolhouse Rock on mushrooms.

Edit: m4v version here

That was an unexpectedly really cool and crazy music video. Felt like I was tripping :P
What music genre does The Knife fall in? is it techno?
thanks for sharing!

I would say they are Electronica with a dash of Synthpop.

Techno is 4 hours of bass kicks perhaps some synths that repeat the same melody over and over again, and an orgasming girl every half hour for good measure.

Nope. They kind of sound the same sometimes, though. The Knife is composed of a swedish brother-and-sister duo.

I LOVE the knife!
And they are nothing short of orgasmic on stage, so go see them!
The visuals are really quite cool, and the whole atmosphere is brilliant.

I guess I've reached that point I've always feared... I must be getting old. Honestly I found their music painfully bad :/ Maybe I'm too much of a rock guy.

Woah that was quite something. Not the same style at all, but it sortof reminded me of that JuniorSenior pixel art video. I'm sure the uncompressed mov at original size can still be found somewhere.

HOWEVER be careful with Pea's advice. He' got a very unique idea of what is orgasmic on stage.
