this is a random idea, but i just thought it would be interesting if someone could make an E.T. model for Quake 2 or 3. it doesn't really matter, i just thought it would be neat.

if it is a trial, i can't use it for much. and i just get frustrated every time i try modelling, even with GMax! I look everywhere for tutorials, and i get them everywhere, and even the most basic beginners stuff is greek to me!

still by quitting everytime you wont get far will you ? stop acting like a retard and actually try to dedicate some effort on making things only YOU want , instead of making childish posts and show your complete no-knowledge of the industry.

yes, don't worry if your first models it like absolute shit.. my first modeling attempt was a wheel chair (was into sh2 at that time)... and guess what? it was very sad. it looked like 5-6 boxes and cylinders with horribly stretchedout verts mashed together.
you first models will look like crap, but as johny has said, will you get far if you just keep quiting?
stop quiting and model!

Excellent. After you make some progress on your model you can post the wip in p&p. I'm sure everyone will be happy to give you constructive criticism and advice.
