Hey, just wondering if anyone is attending the Austin Games Conference this coming week. My friend and I will be there presenting to some publishers(!) and hopefully learning something :P It would be cool to meet up with someone from here!

Offical polycount meet and greet at Austin GDC 2006.

On Weds at 4:00 pm we'll meet at the head of the rotunda stairs at the convention center. This will give us 3 hours before the Guitar Hero party which I hope we can just all go as a group to.

Here's a map as to the rotunda location:



It's the only round section of the convention center, it souldn't be too difficult to find.

If you want a polycount shirt, we have some left over that i'll sell at a discounted rate of 15 bucks a piece if you email me ahead of time to arrange it.

We'll chat and meet and great, bring some business cards if you have them and maybe then go enjoy some brews and fun afterwards.

the conference is a bit pricey this year... i dunno i might come... hey R are you going to get a pass or u want to just meet up and hang out, go get some drinks maybe? Not sure if i'll make it, not alot of people coming and i need to get some stuff done.

Rockstar, you dont need a pass to get to where the meet up is. It's in the public areas by one of the doors. I expect we'll have only a small handful of folks show up, so hanging out and transistioning over to the guitar hero demo for drinks and fun is definately what I had in mind.

And I did get a press pass for the show. I'll be going around to all the expo folks and asking for screenes of their latest efforts to use as polycandy here. There's not a ton that this show offers us as a community, but I figure pretty pictures can at least make us happy.

By the time you posted where to meet I was already in Texas with no internet. That is so dissappointing to here. I am so sorry I missed you r13. I probably saw you at one point though while I was there.
