This is my first post and my first entry here. There's a lot of different versions of Mrs. Peacock, so I'll be sketching a concept to blend them all together. Here's one of the cards I found.

PS 20-min speedpaint. Upper-class,widowed soccer mom from hell who is highly suspected of killing her husband by poisoning his after-work martini.

that cell phone looks a lot like a calculator heh

I like where you're tryin to take this but right now the new design doesnt seem to carry over any actual elements from the original. Color scheme, age, clothing, all seem to be different. Maybe change the purple to a blue?

Yeah, I guess it's not really evident, from what I could find Mrs. Peacock is supposed to be a wealthy widow, she appears to be in her 50's. I'm putting her more in the 40's- with-lots-o-plastic-surgery bracket(Joan Rivers, maybe?), and the clothing is just supposed to be a modern update of fancy clothing,a designer suit. The purple was just a big screw-up..oops, fixed it now with a little replace color in PS. Thanks for the crits, Ferg.

The beauty of doing a Cluedo character is that the character designs in every edition (and theres been plenty of those over the years). As long as she's blue and a representation of a Mrs, then you've got pretty much free reign.

Adding a peacock feather motif to her clothing might be a nice touch. Or a hat with a peacock feather perhaps.

Here's a WIP 2106 tris, some cleanup to do still, and some small touches to add, peacockness will come in texturing.

took a bit of your advice, jackablade, added a fancy peacock feather brooch thingy...also am going to make her hair grey instead of blonde..quick unwrap and slapped some colors on her just for fun..need to adjust some verts around the mouth, tons more texturing to go of course as well

so, I did this just for my personal use since I'm not done with her and it's not right for final submission anyway, but it shows my progress..so what the hell..

The model is cool, I love the yuppie-buisnesswoman look. Although, you can minimize the polycount and save some texture space. For example, you've got 3 peacock feathers. You might just as well remove 2, and clone the one left. Therefore, you do not need 3 feathers and three textures for them, only one. Also there are some faces on her shoes that are not visible at all, the ones under her pants. (that sounded oddly wrong in my head)

Love the face texture and how you did the feathers though.

it's really late in the game but..

there are a lot of polies in the shoes, some of the vertical lines of polies in the lower front of the jacket, and it looks like some on the side of the head under the hair you could optimize down without any notciable effect and use those polies to give her some fingers. i think it would add a lot to the look of her.

Thanks for the crits, this will be the second character model I've ever finished, I'm usually an enviro person. I know I need to go back and optimize in some areas and define the hands more. I've already done some updates, as far as texture and the hands go, will post when I'm done in a few hours.

I'm not sure if due on the 19th means due at midnight, or due anytime during the day on the 19th, so just in case, here's the beauty, viewport, 96x96 and a wireframe. I'm not done the way I'd like to be, so I'll keep working on her. Changed a bit since the last, reduced some unnecessary polys, not sure if I like the new pants or not, I'd like to rig her too.

Since the forums won't be locked until tomorrow evening, going to continue tweaking tomorrow, I really want to rig her. Thanks for the heads-up, SupRore, and good luck to you too.

Mdm. Peacock was always that arrogant, envious old aging battleaxe. I like how you updated her for modern day, but kept the aspect that makes her look like an duplicitous and vengeful upperclass bitch we'd all like to give a good smack to.
I could see her saying she's 39 in response to someone's question before I broke a chair over her back, knocking her into the buffet table.

Good Job!
