Hey all. I'm working on a new texture and I was wondering if anyone had any links or good tips on painting metal for armor. I'm stumped right now and just saving it for last at the moment.

If anyone has any good links / tuts I would be most appreciative for the nudge in the right direction. Thanks.

just remember that if you are making a texture complimented by normal maps and spec maps etc. you want to use a different approach than painting in all the light information into the diffuse
