Is this a paid position? Is this for an established company?

If not then wrong forum.

Lawdog, this was my point, "This forum is the place for all PAID job postings from established companies."

As you didn't mention it was a paid job nore say who you were i was pointing that out. Indies are fine in my book but you need to give a little more info when you post jobs so you dont get mistaken for a mod.

This needs lots more detail as a paid posting to stay here. This forum is for established companies providing at least a stable contractual or full time job. If this is just mod work it needs to be in the Requests forum. Please provide detail.

jayceel @ No its not for http://www.lawdogsmod.com .........its for this new project currently in progress....
http://wantedmod.planethalflife.gamespy.com/saloon/

bearkub@ This is a paid temp job and that's why I posted here......Requests is not a paid thread isn't it? I had no choice but to post here as it is a paid job. Unless you want me posting on a requests thread as a pay job?

the definition of "Paid Job" in this sense is that someone could work this job and support themselves with this as a primary job, even for a short run (6 months, for example). If that's what you are offering, fine. Just be sure that if someone contacts you and asks what the salary you are offering is, the benefits or lack thereof involved, a defined length-of-term of the contract (not to mention a contract, for that matter) you can provide these things for them.

No one is trying to cause you any grief over it, we just are making sure you understand what people are looking for and what they expect when looking at these posts. =]

Hrm...after this, I think I made need to overhaul the rules.

That makes more sense........we're an indie and I know you know what an Inide is, if you feel like moving my thread its up to you....

On the other hand maybe, under "Requests" or perhaps a new thread you might want to add "Indies" or something to guide posters on the right thread........

I think the problem with your post is that its not clear if we are talking $20 for a full character or more like $1000 I think it would be better for all if you could say a bit more about what kind of pay you can offer.

Bearkub -> Hopefully its ok to post smaller freelance jobs here too or maybe you should make a new freelance job section. I guess this job is a smaller freelance job?

well it looked like a paying job to me.

Unfortunately you dont present yourself as someone who is going to pay.
You are totally anonymous. Your only point of contact is an instant messinger, you give no email address or any other form of contact. Your website provides no information. Your profilename is val kilmer - an obvious falsehood, again not exactly reassuring.

look at the other posts here. Full contact info, you know who these people because they tell you. This is why we ask for more info. You can of course discuss fees in private but proove to us that you are legitimate.

Yup, sorry me for not going around your forums for some time...too busy with jobs and stuff... , sadly.

I'll check once you have mounted the wildwestgames.org site.

People, this man tends to count on quite historically accurate Western themed weapons,(often done by himself) and last time I checked, the levels being done by the people there were outstanding. It really worths it to work with him
