Hey
Im having some probs animating someone stand up.
The centre pivot point(highest point in the heirachy) won't keyframe or animate.
It just seems to reset itself to an initial position when I try animateing it.
what am I doing wrong and how can I solve this prob?

Erm have you turned on autokey?, and selected bip01? Becareful not to select the yellow square box (thats the pelvis) around the centre blue piece (you need this bit).

Make sure that you aren't in figure mode, MAX 7 warns you that you can't animate in it but I'm not sure what version you are using.

okies just worked on another model and it seems to work fine on that one,so have gone back and double checked everything again and it all seems fine...I now seem to be able to animate it a very short distance, but not the dstance I need (the length of the leg)...it just won't move when i play the animation.

Wait, are you animating the Bip01 object, or just the Pelvis?

Is Biped's "Body Vertical" track selected? (Track Selection rollout)

Cool. It's the obvious ones that suck the most.
