I tend to make something like this near the end of each year for my mum and for my inlaws.
I used ref of Nikitta in her first Halloween costume and just made the painting a little more magical.
I went from photoshop5.5 to Painter8 and back again.
Good fun, though it still freaks my wife out each time I break
out the pinks and pastel tones

Awwww that brought a smile to my face, which is just what I needed after today heh. Always enjoy the way you convey mood with your work.

haha, nice work Ror. if you ask me, i think all artists need to take a big step outside their typical oeuvre once in a while--check out the scenery, and then retreat! love the bubble clusters.

i didn't even realize i was smiling. i really like this version of your signature. i love looking into paintings with personal content in them such as these, where you know an artist has a lot of emotion and subconcious thought in his strokes. fun composition in this piece ror very enjoyable.
draw without greed

Hehe, what a cutie. She actually looks a lot like my niece. Great painting, Ror. I'm sure that family will love it

Nice drawing, cute littlge girl, she's getting big. How many kids do you have? I really hope more than one cause I remember you doing drawings of a baby and I'm going to feel really old if that was her.

Thanks folks.
What is awn I'm curious about that Hallmark idea.
Granny loves these pics, I've been making cards and pics for her since I was about 7 so its a long tradition.
Nikitta is an only child, she'll be 3 in march and yeah, she makes me feel old now and then too, but mostly she makes me feel young
