can't seem to post in hawken's challenge thread, so I'll ask here.
do handheld games, or any other with stats this low, interpolate pixels? I had to select uninterpolate in XSI so the images wouldn't appear blurred. I like the sharp pixelated look.

Doesn't the PSP support texture filturing and the DS doesn't have that feature? Atleast, that's what I have heard.

PSP defineatly supports texture filtering.
I haven't seen a single DS game use it though, so I doubt it's supported.
Looking cool so far, GX

ah cool. thanks for answering guys.
Lee: seriously. break time. we still hanging out tomorrow? get back online.
Character:
256 tris. 128x128 texture.
took me a while to figure out XSI's options so i could get the alphas to render without the texture being filtered.
I can't decide on what to do for monster and scenery.

I like the original, all black, no texture version better, but that's cause it was so creepy. Good stuff nevertheless. Looking at your textured version reminds me of low resolution vertex animation (a la quake though kingpin), and I imagine her shaking around like jello for an idle stance. :P

I'm having too much fun with this. Realtime shadows...wooo!
Tonight's progress on the scene. I still have lots of triangles and texture space left.
edit: holy crap I just earned an additional hour.

heh, i had a flytrap for awhile... one day it became vegetarian and henceforth refused/ignored all insects... it just kind of shriveled away after that.
true story.
