Hi ,

I try to improve my wireframes in LOW POLY and for this I've found nice & simple "art concept" at
http://www.bestofthebeast.com/
done for HL 2 mod :

( I hope, that they don't kill me, cause it's just a training=pratice for me . )

here's my 3D work :

I prefere to keep on the wind-breaker with the hood a little bit more marked - pronounced than on the art concept.

hmm , what You think ?

thank You for Your crits

Looks alrightish, hard to say from small renders. I would atleast post some closeups of the face.

I would work on the wrinkles on the pants, at the moment it looks like they have bits of string tied all the way aound, pay attention how material folds and wrinkles from stress point to stress point always keeping gravity in mind.

Otherwise not bad, as EQ said some close up renders would be nice.

You're right - I've forgotten the gravity.
I will arrange a little bit the wrinkles down on the pants.

Thank You guys

pretty much what everyone else has said, though I think his hoody should sag down like in the concept- you might get that effect if the material for the coat was quite stiff or padded but looking at the way the material is hanging off the figure, it's not the case.

Also some assymetry would really help make him more realistic- having it so the t-shirt is tucked into his trousers and also the actual folds and creases on the trousers themselves would go a long way to do this

If you can get permission from the artist who made the concept, would you be willing to release an SDK? I likes me zombies (but not in the weird sexual way associated with necrophila )

You know, my Girlfriend and I got into a conversation concerning that, haha, we're both big zombie buffs. Because technically zombies arn't dead, they're undead, so would it still be considered necrophilia? Then the conversation went off into how funny it would be to see a zombie porn, and then we found one, haha.

It's looking good, I'd say add some sort of detail in the model as to where he was bit. Like model in a rip into his neck or something. But then again that mod is a HL2 mod (I had checked it out a couple months back, just because zombies interest me, their stuff looked okay, some of it better than of their other stuff, they have some talented people on the team.) Anyway, since it is a HL2 mod, that means you can normal map in some damage in the tissue.

Yes , I'm gonna break a little bit the symetrie.
About "SDK" -this evening I've sent a e-mail to author of this art concept to get his opinion about this model and possible "SDK".
(I hope it will be OK )
