Who'd have thought it! This is all news to me! Up until now, I thought all Australians ate shrimp from the "barbie", and rounded up their huge flocks of sheep while riding their kangaroos!

You'll be telling me next that all people from Glasgow like to knife strangers at the drop of a hat, and get drunk every single night!

...wait, that one's true

Crocodile Dundee tought me everything I know about Australians: they carry big ass knives and don't know what a bidet is.

No matter how many studies they do to try and disprove it, it's still true that everybody who lives someplace else talks with a funny accent.

I've seen a few real, live Canadians, and I can safely say they do not have flapping heads and beady eyes.

I saw a guy standing at Edinburgh station one time, wearing a really dark red suit and tailcoat, with matching top hat. He had a small pile of 3 matching suitcases, a cane, and a little twirly moustache and beard.

I guess he must have been going to some sort of convention or something, but he looked awesome!

Funny, cos I always thought it was aboot too. But when I listen carefully to the Canucks around me at work, it actually sounds much closer to 'aboat' to me!

Yeah Daz, if I say "a boat", it sounds a lot more Canadian than if I say "a boot"... then it just sounds Geordie
