The trailer is up at all the game sites. Just wondering what everyone thought. It's apparetly being deved for the 360 and PS3.
I hope the fast moving shadows translates really well into realtime and isn't just part of a cut scene. The setting is very cool. Not typical for a RE title.

Totally badass, That hallway littered with junk was very gritty.

i hate to see nintendo go, but yeah, i think the ONLY way they'll be able to survive is if the next system was dirt cheap compared to the other systems and it may be considering the others could be in excess of $300, but they are being blown out of the water as we speak, err...type

Capcom is rather wishywashy on the issue, they're saying they'll port it to everything they can get their hands on. Considering noone has announced anything regarding the "Revolution" yet it's not farfetched to assume these's some very strict NDA in place.
Besides, RE4 didn't doom the Xbox.

When I read the description on gamespot I turned away disappointed, a few hours later I watch that bit of footage. Looks intense, love the grit

Resident Evil has always been referred to as BioHazard in japan or the eastern area atleast, AFAIK...

It was originally known as Biohazard but when they wanted to bring it to the US there was some band named Biohazard already that protested so they made up another name.

i dunno, for the moment i'd say that i'd take the somewhat effeminate mr. Leon Kennedy over captain eatbeef there... but the trailer does look good. i'm expecting great things if they keep it in line with RE4

Yeah, I agree Gauss. I think the character in the trailer is Chris from RE1. Looks cool, but I prefer Leon's character design myself.

Wonder how they'll pull off fighting 'fast zombies' in the new RE. the series has been always about carefully aiming at relatively slow targets.

RE4 was one of my favorite games in the last few years, and RE5 gets me super excited! The character looks a bit more like carlos from RE3 than chris to me though.

Note: This one isn't being produced by the guy who made RE4 (Shinji Mikami).
