Hey gang, I know this is pretty lame, but here we go.

The bf2 server allows for an image to be posted on the server that is displayed in the menu. (I am sure you can see where this is going...).

I am not sure of the dimensions since I am at work, but I will post them as soon as I get home. There is no catchy name for the server (but hey, if you come up with that to, more power to yah!) so the only thing that you have to go on is the host name of the server is nibbler.fastpc.com and it will be for polycount and #model_design. So, with that here is your challenge:

-Design a logo for the polycount/#m-d server. Please try to keep the theme related to the server name and/or who will be on it.

The retail version of the game comes out tomorrow in the U.S. so this is gonna be a 48-hour challenge. The judges for this will be the guys who are using the server and myself (basically, the #model_design crew). Who knows? There may be a copy of Battlefield 2 in this for you as well. *WINK WINK WINK*

OK, who am I kidding? The winner will receive a copy of Battlefield 2** as well as having your logo on the server (since just using your image is a weak prize. ;] )

The final submission date is midnight, Tues. June 20 (U.S. Central time; GMT -5) and we will pick the image and have it displayed by the end of the week.

Please post your final submissions in the "Bonus Challenge: Final Submissions" thread in the Contests and Challenges forum here: http://boards.polycount.net/showflat...;vc=#Post50947

Get going!

**If you already have a copy of BF2, we'll figure something else out. ;]

and it better be good, you bums! and no steam punk and/or gargoyles!

i wonder if it would allow for rotating thru a selection of images. i imagine if it doesn't, someone will make a mod for that.

If you read the final post thread in the Contest and Challenges forum, you will notice that I have extended the deadline til Friday, June 23 at midnight Central Time (GMT -5) due to some "unforseen circumstances." So, you have a little extra time if you want to put in a submission you didn't have time to do or put in an extra if you already submitted one. Good luck!
