k, here are my concepts, some are highly inpracticle, like the lightsaber chucks, youd have to be a pretty skilled jedi to handle those. The wookie saber is based off of the wookie blaster, so its kinda like a gunblade thing, i duont know, sounded neat

I'm liking the Ancient one and the Rapier ... always wanted to see a "classic" sword hilt on a lightsaber.
Have fun modelling some of them up!

that wookie thing rocks, makes me want to think of a cool gun-shaped saber as well.

ok, 1 down 4 to go. I m pretty happy with the way this one turned out, what a fun challenge this has been. I'll post textures later, but they are 2 256x256(diffuse/normal) and 2 32x32(saber)
and the model itself stands at 692 tris

thanks for the comments everyone!
I have moved onto the wookie blster/saber now, hopefully will have the texture done tonight. It stands at 740 tris with the blade. I think I'm going to do the saber chucks tomorrow since it seems to be a popular idea( lol, dunno why, worst idea for a weapon ever)

top is low poly (740 tris)
bottom is hi poly

by the way, the blade is a temp blade(recycled from the last saber) I'm thinking of having it orange or green and a bit wider than the one that's on there now
