Ahhh, fuck!
Could still be a huge April Fool's joke, though this wouldn't seem to be Mitch's style.

Did anyone catch Bush's press conference on Mitch's death, where he talks about the laughs he brought us with every breath of his tragically short life? I was gonna tape it but I couldn't find the damn thing.

"Bush" as in George W. Bush, President of the United States of America? He held a press conference on Mitch Hedberg's death? That seems odd.

I believe Mal was referring to the fact that earlier in the thread, someobody announced that Mitch Hedberg was in fact also the pope, but I could be wrong. Those are some awesome quotes Sal.

More like, Terri Schiavo gets a press conference. The Pope gets a press conference. Mitch Hedberg, the only one of the three to have affected my life in a positive way, gets nuthin'!
Also a half-hearted troll to get vermillion to condemn me for bringing politics into a nonpolitical thread. But now it'll never happen! You suck, Daz!

Doh sorry Mal. Randalls exclamation that Mitch was the pope threw me off. Of course, I should have realized that your message was far deeper than any punctuation Nazism.
I wasn't familiar with Hedberg, but his death has prompted me to discover that he was indeed a very funny man. So sad to only make it to 37.

Oh I see, I guess I was confused by the overwhelming amount of irony in your post, Malekyth. And Daz, Randall wasn't saying that Hedberg was the Pope, he was just guilty of HORRIBLE grammar. I believe this is what he intended:
"The Pope, and now Mitch Hedberg; people are dropping like flies."
