They ran a story about this guy in the local rag here in Portland. He's gone to see a live show every day for the past year. I'm pretty sure I would have been burnt out after about a week or two of this:

I don't know why I think this is cool, but the first thing up there (today, anyway) is Bethany Village Grill. It's within walking distance of my house, and I go there quite a bit. They have an open mic every Thursday. Excellent happy hour menu.

I just can't imagine there being a show every day I would want to see. Of course...this isn't the best music scene in the world and Portland kinda is. =]

Well, it does look like he travelled up to Seattle to see some of those shows. I also have a feeling that a lot of those bands he saw you couldn't pay me to go see [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Kat, what part of town do you live in again? I've never been to Bethany Village Grill.
