Hi
I have made a player model in Maya and have used a great plugin to export the md3's, .skin etc written by the guys at http://quakerally.com
I can't get the model anywhere near the floor though. I have moved various md3's , and all the tags etc up and down but the model just seems to float in mid air. I even added a tag_floor (some tuts say its needed, others say its not) and have moved it about but the dam model still wont sit on the floor.. I want to make sure its all ok before I do the animations...
Can anyone help ?

Remember that most exporters work in relation to the object center, not the world origin and moving around the objects won't do anything, you have to move the object data around.

When you move your model or tags around are you freezing transformations after each move? Or maybe you have some sort of history problem that has built up during the modeling.
