I'm making a model with a custom skeleton. How important is it that the purple line that drops to the "floor" point be visible in UnrealEd, and how do I make it show up?

OK, I found that the purple line is actally there, but it's connecting Bip01 to the grid origin rather than at a point at the Z of the feet. Since my Bip01 is close to the origin the line is very short, and I stumbled upon it totally by accident. The model still gets into UT2004.

Does anyone know how to move it to the foot level, and how important it might be to do so?

Thanks.
