not at home to share a link or two I have but these are decent quality tutorials and reinforce the same things I've seen elsewhere - the wolf one does bring more to light the use of more colors to have a more natural fur - so great links; thanks for providing them

you should try the painter fur brush( version 7 onwards ). you can get nice reults very quickly
