Ghost Recon 2 has shipped for the Xbox so I thought I’d show the work I did through Streamline Studios on the cinematic. I did the texturing for these high poly heads. Each head consist of a diffuse, bump, and spec map. I’m not sure if the modeler wants to be openly credited or not but as soon as I find out I’ll be sure to post his name and portfolio. He kicks major ass!

Exellent skill on this high poly stuff bobo ! That's just awesome !
Just one thing, and it's a classic case in 3D, the eyes seems to be a little lifeless.
Anyway, great stuff !!!

good to see you pimping again!
impressive stuff as always, like the face-paint, especially the black.

Great texturing ! You did excelent work.
********
Nevertheless I would to like to say something about the model 3D.
Well , the model n°2,n°4 has a strange ears, non ? I've found the entry-hole of ear too large (big).
I know that in reality no-body is percfect,(and the anatomy is various ) but there's something what I don't like.

I repete - Your texturing is excelent.

Awesome stuff Bobo and <unknown modeller>...
Trademark texturing style there, I love it. The camo paint is done perfectly IMHO. Looks just like real facepaint!
Good work indeed, as usual. I can only hope that one day I will be as consistent with quality art as yourself.

the first camo face is my favorite, reminds me of some of the eye shadow lacrosse players were starting to adopt just before I stopped playing. Definitely inspirational!

Way to go bobo! Nice job on the black guys texture. It looks good, most have a hard time with that skin tone.

well, they all look plastic to me. and the specular is all too hot and yellow. the eyes look painted on too. i guess i just need to see them all in context? are the cinematics realtime or prerendered?

They're hardly gonna be realtime on Xbox at that resolution Snowfly.
Sweet work Bobo. My only real crit would have been to reduce the hi-light size on the eyeball. The models are pretty nice too, but Id agree with dizzywalnut that theres something pretty funky going on with the ear and the size of the hole on a couple of them. Nice stuff man. The games meant to be good too I hear huh?

well I don't know, I thought the models might have smoothed for pimping, though there is a lot of tight detail in there. it just seems an odd combination, hi-res meshes and seemingly painted-on hair.
the skin tones seem pretty even all around too, even if there are several splotches of discoloration. Number 2 seems to have the best skin tone variation of the lot, with the nice purplish forehead...
