Don't forget about Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman, Education Secretary Rod Paige.

From what I understand all reasonable voices. I wonder if they waited.. No wait, I know they all were coherced to wait until after the election to give the voters a false sense of a common outlook for the administration.

The aide said that guys like me were ''in what we call the reality-based community,'' which he defined as people who ''believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.'' I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. ''That's not the way the world really works anymore,'' he continued. ''We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.''

Word is, that Powell may take the pPresidency of the World Bank. This is a guy who's been in government service since 1970, and it's time for him to make some retirement money.

I can't say I know what is behind it, but I'm positive there was some evil, dastardly reasoning behind it!!!

Since we have to pay to see it, here is a overview:

I don't think Powell will run as VP in 2008. When he took the job as SOS, he repeatedly said that he was "one and done", and his wife pressured him apparently to quit two years ago but he stuck it out. In his statement he stated a desire to return to "private life".

Condoleeza Rice has been named his successor.

I heard he would most likely just move up her current deputy to fill it.
