In the spirit of the Chick thread: To everyone who voted on the "moral values," looks like the Republicans are the wrong party for you...

no, those guys would lose. it is unfortunate that we have these two parties which are so different and wrong, yet the american public is used to voting either democrat or republican. nader get's a scant 1% of votes and he's probably the biggest third party candidate ive ever heard of.

Yeah I remember him, but he didn't screw up two presidential elections like Perot did.

I remember Jon Anderson. I also remember him as being too irrelevant to effect the outcome of Reagan's re-election

Yea, Ross Perot was way bigger than Nader. More televised, anyways. Dana Carvey's comedy has imortalized him.

As far as the topic goes, I don't think it's right to advertise a political side here. Both sides have valid and invalid points, both have/are making idiotic mistakes. Neither Bush or Kerry deserve the presidency, but Bush did win. All you can do is support the man in office. Nothing more to it.

Or make every effort at every turn to drag him down and discredit him like the repugs did to our President during the Clinton years

But man, did they ever try. HARD. And used millions of taxpayer dollars to do so. And ruined a couple people's lives doing so (Whitewater).

Is it indicative of bad character when the President sleeps around? AFAIK, John Kennedy's reputation is still pretty solid. And he did Marilyn Monroe. And so did Bobby.
