Hiya I am using 3d max 6 and working with biped, this issue has happened a couple of times and I have no clue how to solve it...

bascially the vertexs are not showing in the phsique modifer,, so as you can imagine it becomes impossible to setup a rig,,, I've tried using edit mesh, edit poly, reintialising rigs, unhiding verts, unfreezing allsorts... I am guessing its something daft and easy any thoughts?

many thanks

Greg

Uh... that's not a bug. That's a un-documented feature.

Not sure what the problem is that you have. I have also noticed that my vertices are no longer showing. I've tried changing the display size of the vertices, but still don't show up. I'm thinking I must have accidentally hit a hotkey, as the only way I can see them is if I have the vertices display as crosses, instead.

Have you tried to reset the X-forms? Usually when a model has a negative scale the verts don't show up in physique.

sometimes also there is a bug soemtimes where if you minimize the viewport, the vertices seem to disappear. i have to reset the display size of the vertex.

I know you solved the problem now, but my first advice would be to drop Physique and use Skin. It's way better IMO, and has actually been updated in recent versions with some awesome tools, as opposed to Physique, which has stayed the same for a while now.
