you must have been a big fan of interstate 76 when it came out, right? cause the main character drives a cuda in that game... and that was my choice car for multi, come to think of it.
/me goes off to look for a used cuda

gauss.. i still remember sitting in Jack in the Box with my dad, thumbing through the latest PCGamer, when I came to the article about I76... the rest was history (though I never beat the game cause my discs went AWOL due to a classmate). I loved that the 'game disc' was also a cd of tunes you could play in your car. And we're currently in the process of restoring my dad's (someday to be mine) 1970 plymouth barracuda convertible (back to the original sub-lime color).

taking a little break from animating and working on this. getting the geometry in then stripping it down to a reasonable poly count. Trying a new technique and liking it. And yes I'm aware of the shading issue.

Some new levels, and some new eye candy for my engine. I always liked the Q3A "glass", so I made a very similar type shader effect and hardcoded it into the engine. Next I will implement true shader scripts.

This is actually old now but all I have of it online at the moment. It's my concept for my elemental. I'll post the finished version sometime tonight within the challenge section.

You know, I really hate posting something right after something of Bobo's. Makes me feel...inadequate...

Hollowmind.. dont get down on yourself.. I love your model there. Its totally geeky sci-fi. And bobo, you'rs is great too. I like the way the colors are placed. REdish tail... cool body... and reddish fins in mid and on on head. The boobs seam kinda .... booby.. i dunno. Instead of normal looking boobs, m aybe push for boobs someones never seen before. like gills on the boobs instead of nipples. or those angler light bulb things. Nice work Hazed. Good detailing on that skin and the models look good, too.

Both models looking RAWK. The blue material the engineer is wearing confuses me a bit though, at first I thought it was denim but then upon closer examination it looked more like a sequin ensemble. Turning down the white highlights (especially on his ass) would fix it. Great work.
