Hey guys, heres a model i am working on to improve my texturing so critiques would be amazing on the materials! I worked on the wood mainly, the rest is just base materials but i am reaching a point where i am quite happy about the wood. I will approach this very slowly and probably redo stuff quite frequently.
At the end of the model i should have a good portfolio piece for my portfolio and learnt a lot!
Enough talk from now heres the model, (first time using 4k textures woot):

If the metal is meant to be the black laquer it should probably be glossier; if it is meant to be parkerized metal (or equivalent) it could use some higher frequency noise (perhaps in normal too if the texel density is in your favour; it should be at 4k) and different wear. Then just play with colour and roughness variation on the metal.

The normal damage on the wood could be less uniform too; you could have some very specific patches of larger scratches that also alter albedo and glossiness.
