Has anyone seen this?

The renders look phenomenal. They remind me of old-school SNK sprites. I'd love to try this out.

Every 3D package can do this ^^ it's just low res render with no Anti-aliasing. But with Freestyle, some GLSL shading and Blender compositor, you can achieve nice results. Although there's an add-on in Blender that can render your animation as a sprite, quite useful.

The above, plus a "toon shader" to make those colour patches.
There seems to be some outlines in there as well?
