Hey guys, I am also trying my luck on this one, normaly I am not used to be a concept artist, but I loved UT99 and 2003 and I felt like I need to do at least a good try. So going all out will be the goal and make a cool mapsetting of course

I have chosen ancient ruins, and will try to remake the small map from the original Unreal Torunament, with a newer setting and a "up to date" look and feel

This was my first draft to get the idea of what I am doing. I had also chosen a little coloroverlay, to block the first mood into it.

Ok, my draft was very loose, but I got the idea and I was photobashing some details into it. It looks quite uncommon to go this fast into details, but I like it, because it's always the funpart

After some hours more, I am almost done with my first concept.

And here is my final result ...

And a little wip gif, if anybody is interested. Some steps got hidden layers, so it looks like I was taking them away, don't feel irritated
