Hello fellow polycounters!

Like the title might suggest, I'll use this thread to build up a (small) portfolio, that I'll use to apply for internships soon, since I finished university (Graphic Design) in febuary.

And I'm hoping for feedback/support! :) I already learned a LOT from this awesome community.

Later on I'll use this first post to showcase the latest progress.

Starting off with some conceptarts I'm currently working on.
I decided to do some weapons. So here are some one-handed-sword concepts.

It's my first time to paint starting from greyscale...
Atm I'm also planning to model at least one of these later on.

Cool concepts! I really like the dual blade on the left and the shaded weapon looks cool too. Keep it up! :)

    Nice stuff Bianca!

What's the scale on the sword you picked? The handle seems kinda long compared to the blade. Great sketch :) I'll be subbing

Hi Elliot! I basicly thought of one handed swords, which could be grabed with both hands for a stronger hit. But you might be right, maybe I should shorten the handles a little. At least at the second and third one. Thanks.

And thanks Komaokc for the feedback!

Some progress. I'm having a hard time putting colors on these... I guess I'll need to watch a tutorial about putting color to a greyscale drawings.

And I still need to finish some parts, like the bottom parts of the handles.
