Darksider Link

Hey everyone, been working on this sculpt for class.
It's supposed to be Link in the Darksiders style.
Tried to throw as many references to the games as I could on him.
I'm gonna retopo him before I get any more details in and before that I gotta sculpt his sword and shield.
Comments and critiques are welcomed

Looks great

The only thing that I see that needs changing is to better define the fabric folds in the center flap to match the rest of the fabric.

I'll keep that in mind after the retopo.

And yep, it's a skully revamp to the mask

Looks really nice, you really got the darksiders style.
And I was gonna say, maybe add his sword/shield to make him look even more like link, but it seems like that's already the plan ^^

Is this just gonna stay as a sculpt, or are you gonna do LP/texturing?

Great idea looks badass!! At the moment its more Darksiders than Link. I think more "Link" elements will make it read better.

I'd beef up the leather straps on his chest, and maybe give a bit more emphasis on the belt. Also his legs have a much less interesting silhouette than ever where else on the character, vary that up a bit, maybe make the top part of the boot stick out more, or thicker items on the hip.

Ha awesome concept. Love the idea of a Darksiders Link. Looking great so far, but I think the hat needs to be a big bigger. Right now it looks quite small in the back and with everything quite big and bulky in darksiders style it feels too small. Also I feel its too far back on links head, how would it stay on like that? And you can see any bit of the cap from the front. Any front on shot of link you can always see the brim of his hat in it. Cant wait to see more.

Rodimus: Yeahh, that would be sweet...would be one demented looking Navi

ZacD: I think I'm gonna change the double straps on the chest into one bigger one. It should allow me to go thicker plus it'll be some nice rest space. I'd also get a chance to design a cool buckle to go with it.

Autocon: I'll tweak the hat around 'till it feels right. I feel like my image doesn't show exactly what's goin' on up there, but yahh I'll keep in mind how it should be positioned. Right now the hat is pretty long if you see it from a side view. I just have it statically floating lol

Here's a quick little update:
Concept for the MASTER Sword and a quick blockout.
Still working on polishing everything and making minor fixes here and there.
Should have the shield scuplt up soon.
