Hey every one.
I have started a new scene for my portfolio also I will try to test and learn some new techniques and have fun with lots of stuffs
here is the concept by artyom vlaskin
I have started the block out.
I'm a very good Unity3D user but this time I'm going to decide between UDK or CryEngine. Which one would you choose for this concept ?

Just Started moving to CE :
Whatabout Unity with Marmoset IBL? Looking good so far, though maybe missing some kind spot of focus, or some activity, and BTW technically it's post apocalyptic, and there could still be life, cockroaches seem to survive or a new set of primitive humans. Ok, it's environment art, just thinking out loud.
Well I think using cryengine will define visual stuffs way better than Unity3d so I decided to go with CE.
And yes it's post apocalyptic maybe some moderator can change the topic name later as I progress.
It's still in veryyyy early stages I will try to put lots of details
Just a quick update. Highpoly Wagon in the scene
@ Low : Thanks for the point I tried tighten up the edges.
My pleasure to here more from u guys.
Here are some new things I have done :
I learned ALOT while baking and texturing the car. I have to keep up now. critiques plzz
@ narticus I'm planning to put my workflow here so keep an eye on the thread
I think your car is lacking some good specular values, it seems too evenly diffuse right now. It would be nice if the green moss had some material separation to it. What I mean by that is see if you can get it to look like its actually layered on top. It might bump out a bit more and have a shadow underneath the mossy mass to indicate the bump. Contrasting its specular against the spec of the rusty metal could work too.
To my eye, it looks like your models are solid, but good material definition can take it to the next level
@ Anty No just photoshop
@ Subtle 1rony Thanks fornotes I will look to them and post the result very soon.
Oh btw I have problems with CE3 texture loading. Some times 4K texture took lots of time to compile.( some time forever ! ) Is it normal ?
I have changed the spec gloss & Diffuse : Here is the new one
New Update on Traffic Light : (Rendered In Marmoset 2 )
